The Oyster™ Composite valve is the ideal solution for the high precision discharge and volumetric dosing of powders, and is especially suitable for pack-off systems.

The ingenious design of the valve allows the user to develop optimised filling protocols to achieve high levels of efficiency and dosing accuracy.

The main leaf operates like a butterfly valve for the bulk discharge of product, and the dosing head operates like a miniature dosing valve dispensing tiny amounts of product during the final stage of fine dosing. The use of the 4-20mA positioner on the main leaf enables proportional closing as the target weight is approached, and it is this which gives the valve its very high productivity.
For stickier products the dosing head can be equipped with a bridgebreaker to keep product flowing.

All Oyster™ branded sanitary valves are designed according to cGMP standards, for trouble free operation and easy maintenance. The valve design ensures optimal hygienic and functional characteristics and eliminates recesses with hard-to-clean corners.
